Job Description

Contracts Manager – London – Interim or Permanent

Morson Talent are working with a global consultancy firm who require an experienced Contracts Manager to join their London Team with hybrid working offered. The Contracts Manager will be required to have international experience as well as covering both the public and private sector.  Candidates should have excellent knowledge of Commercial Contracts, Compliance & Corporate Governance and Corporate Support.

Salary is up to £100,000 for Permanent and £900 per day interim. Ideally we are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible. This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days a week on site at their central London office.


Commercial contracting:

Support EMEA operations and business development teams with project contract preparation, legal review and amendment.

Support EMEA proposal development including review of teaming agreements, RFP/tender contract analysis, provision of corporate information and any other requirements as necessary.

Compliance and corporate governance:

Assess country registration requirements, determine the most appropriate form of registration and co-ordinate with other corporate services to accomplish registration.

Ensure that EMEA in country registrations are up to date and in compliance with company policy.

Responsible for maintenance of EMEA entities in the entity register database, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.

Create country compliance profiles for the reference and guidance of Program Directors and program operations staff and update them as necessary.

Contributing to and supporting Risk Management function in the EMEA region.

Corporate support:

Provide advice to the EMEA business on contracting, employment, litigation, legislation and ‘in country’ compliance on tax, employment etc.

Train EMEA program and operations staff on contracts, compliance with entity maintenance requirements.

Support the development and refinement of policies, procedures, templates and guidance documents; and support the roll-out, training and implementation of such revised tools within EMEA.

Support the implementation of real property leases for projects.

Act as Contracts and Compliance representative on the Business Development team as required.

Administration of insurance declarations and claims for EMEA.

Collaborating with other regional Contracts & Compliance teams, and assisting with cross-region compliance and documentation.


Solid experience in commercial contracting, including joint ventures, profit share agreements and grant agreements across both public and private sectors.

Working knowledge of international business, corporate structures, and governance is a plus.

Strong commercial focus underpinned by negotiation skills.

Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

Willingness and ability to walk in the customers’ shoes

Highly effective organisational skills, attention to details.

A great team player who can work collaboratively to get the right outcomes.

Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus.
