Description

Maintain organisation’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies?
Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and organisational standards?
Managing a team of information technology professionals ?
Maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Communicating with parties external to the organisation (e.g., customers, vendors, suppliers, etc.)?
Directing technological research by studying organisation goals, strategies, practices, and user projects?
Completing projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data centre?
Verifying application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented?
Preserving assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
Championing continuous improvement efforts

Profile

Strong critical thinking skills: ability to solve complex problems, prioritise issues, and implement sensible solutions
Excellent organisational, planning, and project management skills
Self-directed, positive, and ethical role model with professional credibility, accountability, and the ability to thrive under pressure
Demonstrated ability to absorb new concepts, facilitate discussions, and lead team members to deliver the best customer experience ?
Communicates issues in advance to prevent potential impacts
Ability to analyse and articulate technical concepts to non-IT business partners in a clear and concise manner
Passionate about quality, performance, and reliability
Must be able to travel globally regularly
